Who we are
The Argyll Beaver Centre is run by the Heart of Argyll Wildlife Organisation (HAWO), an independent Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) founded in 2016.
We aim to promote the conservation and enjoyment of our local wildlife and the habitats in which it can be found.
We do this through public engagement at our off-grid, sustainable visitor centre, with guided walks, events and via talks and education session with schools and community groups of all ages.
We rely on funding and public donations along with income from our events and guided walks, membership fees and shop sales.

We are very grateful to the following for our current funding:
A'Chruach Wind Farm Community Fund (Foundation Scotland)
Vegware Community Fund
The Scottish Land Fund - National Lottery Community Fund
Highlands and Islands Environment Foundation
The Chocolate Tree (1 Percent for the Planet)
The Craignish Trust
Ashfield Trust
Martin Wills Fund
Force for Good
Hugh Fraser Foundation
